Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has released a commemorative postage stamp on the occasion of the great Language Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day. He unveiled the stamp at the Prime Minister’s Office in the capital’s Tejgaon on Saturday (February 21), which also marked his first day working at the Prime Minister’s Office since assuming duty. Prior to this, the Prime Minister had attended his office at the Secretariat on Wednesday and Thursday. At the beginning of his workday today (Saturday) at the Prime Minister’s Office, he also planted a Swarnachapa (golden champak) sapling.
