Daytime temperatures in the capital Dhaka and its surrounding areas are likely to remain nearly unchanged today, while the weather is expected to stay mainly dry. This information was provided by the Meteorological Department in its six-hour forecast starting from 7:00 AM on Sunday (February 22).

The weather office further stated that the sky over Dhaka may remain temporarily partly cloudy today. The minimum temperature in Dhaka early this morning was recorded at 20.4 degrees Celsius, while it stood at 20.7 degrees Celsius at 6:00 AM. Yesterday’s maximum temperature was 31.9 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air at that time was 68 percent.

According to the forecast, a mild breeze may blow from the north and north-west over Dhaka and its adjacent areas at a speed of 6 to 12 kilometers per hour. The sun will set at 5:57 PM today, and sunrise tomorrow will be at 6:26 AM. Meanwhile, another weather forecast concerning the country’s inland river ports indicated that there are no warnings for today, and no warning signals need to be hoisted.
